HP has officially abandoned its WebOS. And because of this, the company chose to liquidate its WebOS-powered devices like the HP TouchPad and Palm Pre. And speaking of the former, I'm quite sure that a lot of you have luckily bought the tablet for $99.
And guess what? There's great news for you! That's because a team of brilliant developers, known as the 'Team TouchDroid', have announced their plans to port the Android platform to the HP Touchpad. The official testing for the said project will officially be done through irc.andirc.net. You can follow their development through this rootzwiki thread: rootzwiki.com/showthread.php?t=3327
As for those who are not so familiar to the HP TouchPad, the tablet currently runs on HP's WebOS 3.0. It boasts its 9.7 inch display with 1.2GHz of dual core Snapdragon processor and can provide an ample amount of 16-32GB storage. It also boasts its Beats Audio for stereo-quality sound.
