Guess what? Research in Motion (RIM) has officially announced the upcoming availability of its very own cloud-based music service. The said service will be known as BBM Music and it can be availed thru RIM's BlackBerry Messenger service.
With BBM Music, BlackBerry users will be able to enjoy the company's community-based music library. They will also be able to listen to their favorite songs through their customized playlists.
Features of RIM's new cloud-based BBM Music:
- Unique social music service with music profiles
- Full tracks and Offline Listening
- Up to 50 songs per music profile
- Share or Build Playlists
As of now, the said service can only be availed through a closed beta trial. But RIM did state that the BBM Music will officially be opened by the end of this year. It will be offered for a monthly subscription of 4.99 USD.
